Tasting note:
Bovin Merlot Barrique is quality dry red wine made from selected vines of the southwestern slopes of Lepovo Brdo, and then aged in Macedonian oak barrels for 12 months. It displays a purple-red color, clear with an excellent reflection and a complex fruity and spicy nose of black cherry jam, roasted coffee, dark chocolate and a scent of pepper. The taste is rich, full and long-lasting with flavor of cherries covered in dark chocolate and strongly emphasized soft tannins. Given proper cellaring, this Merlot will continue to give drinking pleasure until 2021. Consumption with beefsteak, veal roast, Macedonian casserole and especially with roasted chestnuts, at room temperature of 15-17°C.
